The Famous 5 Foundation is working hard to expand its support of Canada’s next generation of great leaders.

The Famous 5 Foundation, in partnership with GirlPower, holds workshops for girls aged 7 to 10 aimed at providing them with tools and strategies for developing a strong sense of self thereby giving them the foundation to be true to themselves and to uncover their leadership potential. The girls are also reminded of the inspirational story of the Famous 5 while they enjoy a legendary “pink tea” hosted by Famous 5 volunteers

Power of you

The Famous 5 Foundation is partnering with Young Women of Power in delivering a two-day conference for girls ages 12 to 18. The conference aim is to build confidence through active group sessions on personal safety, inner beauty, and celebrating female diversity and greatness, so girls know that they are more than enough.

The Young Women of Power event embodies the mandate of the Famous 5 Foundation, which is to inspire Canadian women and girls to embark on their own ‘acts of courage’ by becoming leaders of change and positively impacting the communities they live in. This year, new Famous Five Leadership Track sessions will encourage participants to focus on their strengths and leadership qualities so that they will feel empowered to pursue their passions and achieve anything they want.

The 2015 workshop is being held in Calgary on April 17th and 18th. For more information or to register, visit
